Madeline Brady Russell, Esquire, is  a founding Partner of the firm, is a Graduate of Seton Hall Law School, where she was honored as  Outstanding Clinical Practitioner at the time.  She was one of the first attorneys to be certified as a Mediator for the Family Court and has served as an Economic Mediator for both Ocean and Monmouth Superior Courts.  Mrs. Russell is also certified in Collaborative Law, an alternate path toward ending a Marriage and is regularly appointed Guardian over children and adults by the Presiding Judges.  Additionally, Mrs. Russell is highly experienced in representing members of the Hasidic community and has successfully handled cases in the Rabbinical Court as well.


Mrs. Russell is a Graduate of Fordham University (Marymount College), Seton Hall Law School, a Member of the New Jersey State Bar, the Pennsylvania State Bar and the American Bar Association.  Admitted to practice before the Supreme Court of the United States of America, the United States District Court for the District of New Jersey, a Diplomate in New Jersey Municipal Law, a Member of the Ocean and Monmouth Judicial Mediation Programs, has been awarded the Martindale-Hubbard Distinguished Attorney Award, served as a Public Defender for the Township of Jackson and was a Member of the Ocean County Ethics and Family Law Committee.


Mrs. Russell's practice is exclusively limited to all aspects of Family Law, Divorce, Anulment, Pre-nuptial Agreements, Child Custody, Parenting Time, Parent alienation, Spousal and Child Support, Spousal and Child Abuse, Post Divorce Issues, Mediation, Arbitration and Collaborative Law. 

Mrs. Russell actively supports many charities, including LADACIN (formerly known as Cerebral Palsy of Monmouth and Ocean Counties), The Don Pritsch Foundation, where she volunteers as an attorney and has volunteered her time and legal knowledge to many community serving organizations.​

Margie McMahon, Esquire, is a founding partner of McMahon and Russell, L.L.C. , maintaining an office/practice in the Firm’s Ocean County location in Jackson, New Jersey.  Prior to opening the Firm in 1995 she served as the law secretary to the Honorable Arthur J. Blake, A.J.S.C. In the Superior Court of New Jersey, Ocean County vicinage during 1984-1985; was associated with the law firm of Levin, Shea & Pfeffer, P.A. from 1985-1990; and as a named partner in the firm of Levin, Shea, Pfeffer, McMahon & Russell thereafter until 1995. She has served as an Early Settlement Panelist for the Superior Court, Ocean County vicinage. 


Ms. McMahon is a Graduate of Georgian Court College, Seton Hall Law School, a practicing member of the New Jersey State Bar, admitted to practice before the Supreme Court of the United States of America and the United States District Court for the District of New Jersey. She is a past President (1999-2000) and member ( 1984-present) of the Ocean County Bar Association, the New Jersey State Bar Association and was a member of the American Bar Association.  She currently serves on the Ocean County Bar Association’s Judicial and Prosecutorial Selections Committee; and has served as both the Chair and a member of the Ocean County District III Ethics Committee. She has served as a member of the Ocean Judicial Mediation Programs and was honored by the Ocean County Bar Association as the Young Lawyer of the Year in 1989. 


Ms. McMahon practices primarily in the area of Family Law and also practices in the area of Civil litigation, with a focus on Consumer Fraud, having served as a Compliance Monitor approved by the New Jersey Attorney General’s Office to monitor dealerships compliance with Federal and State consumer fraud regulations;  having represented both dealerships and consumers. 


Ms. McMahon is involved in a variety of charitable activities.  Ms. McMahon is very active with The Bobby Buecker Foundation, having been a founding member of The Bobby Buecker Fund following the untimely passing of the young man whose memory lives on through this Charitable Foundation.  The Foundation is a non-profit corporation whose mission is to provide financial assistance to those that are faced with the hardship of securing quality healthcare and meeting the financial obligations that are associated with those situations.
